Glee TV show Features Geek is the new Chic t-shirt!

The always fashionable and impeccably dressed Kurt Hummle, as played by Chris Colfer, was spotted in our Geek is the New Chic Guys T-shirt in Glee: Episode 3, Accafellas.

We are super psyched. Glee is one of the hottest shows on TV right now, and they're wearing Crooked Monkey t-shirts! Hip hip hooray!

Glee joins Weeds, Leverage, and "So you think you can dance" in the category of TV shows with awesome style. Eclipse, the third saga in the Twilight series, will be joining the category of Movies with the best style when Eclipse features our Sketched boombox t-shirt.

Big shout out to Cara, best former intern ever, for spotting this one. It wasn't an easy spot, as Kurt was wearing a blazer over our Geek is Chic t-shirt, but I guess we trained her well. She also is responsible for letting us know about Ryan Seacrest wearing our I'm not a gardener i just like hoes t-shirt. Three cheers for Cara. Well actually two cheers for Cara. She'll get a third cheer on her next spotting.

Hanging with the Salahis

The Power Players Club threw a bash for the Salahis the other night at District Nightclub in DC. We were tempted to crash the party, but found ourselves on the list for the party (big thanks goes out to Ali and KAC from Power Players Club).

As soon as we got there, we headed over to the stars of the night Michaele and Tariq Salahi. We obviously took pictures with Michaele, I should've worn a tux--would've worked better with the whole crashing the party thing. And if I could've done it all over again, I would've placed her hand on my chest.

I chatted with Michaele for a little and then told her that she should start going to these galas in t-shirts. She asked which shirt she should wear, and I told her: "I crashed the White House State Dinner... and all I got was this lousy t-shirt."

Tariq and Michaele loved it--they were super nice and had a good sense of humor.

Fashion BS interviews Crooked Monkey's Micha Weinblatt

Don't be fooled by the name. The Fashion BS Podcast is about a lot more than just BS. The two hosts are a hilarious duo--Elaine Mensah and James Cornwell--that could entertain and inform for hours.

I met Elaine a couple months back at her Fashion Fights Poverty charity event and she invited me onto the program. The show was real fun--we talked about everything from how we got came up with the Crooked Monkey name, to James' disdain for fist pumping and Elaine's "suggestions" for how a t-shirt should fit. Good times.

Crooked Monkey, Jaicko and Alex Feder

Alex Feder, establisher of the XYZ Affair, is now the guitarist for Jaicko, an up and coming sensation hitting the radios across the nation.

Alex is on a cross country acoustic tour with him. All along the way he's been rocking some Crooked Monkey t-shirts. In the video below, called "fast forward" Alex is belting out the harmonies for Jaicko and repping the Brooklyn Cat t-shirt for us.

In the last few days we've gotten some emails and Facebook messages of Crooked Monkey sightings throughout the New World .

From Rome (below) to Colombia (above), The monkey is spreading his.... love.

How do we get these pictures? Well the "I'd tap that" picture was found by a former Crooked Monkey intern, and current BBM acquaintance. She was perusing a friend of a friends pictures and found this t-shirt. At Crooked Monkey we call this research. In academic circles they call it Stalking.

No Hummers--Crooked Monkey saves the planet

About a year and a half ago, we came out with our No Hummers t-shirt, to help save the world. Looks like our t-shirt did more than we could ever imagine--the hummer brand is shutting down.

Our friends over at EfficiencyLaw.com actually came up with the t-shirt and informed us of the news.

When we produce a slogan tee that might be duplicated, we make sure our graphic is the coolest.

There are other t-shirt sites that simply throw catchphrases on a t-shirt and put it up on their site. No thought, no creativity. If you need any examples, google GTL t-shirt and let me know what you find.

We labored for a while over whether or not to do a Guys GTL T-shirt. But when Chachi sent over this concept for the GTL t-shirt, it was no longer a question.

I overnighted myself the Guys Fist Pump T-shirt and the Tans & Hot Tubs & Fist pumps & house music & Blowouts & Hair Gel & Poofs v neck shirt, because I had to have them. Usually I can wait for our new shirts; but not these.

Here's why: Last night I attended a fashion event in Washington DC for Luke's Wings. The event was fantastic and money was raised for a great cause. The location reminded me of our Warehouse Party.

Anyways, I was wearing the Tans&Hot Tubs& Fist Pumps& House Music& Blowouts& Hair Gel& Poofs V neck shirt. I've never been photographed so much before in my life. I felt like Paris Hilton. The Jersey Shore TV Show

The Jersey Shore, the best thing since sliced bread. I hate reality TV shows--everything from the Real World to the Hills to the City--manufactured drama and fake problems.

In comes Jersey Shore, with fake tans and manufactured boobs, but with real drama. These guys and gals own their personalties--everyone from Pauly D's humble declaration that it takes him 25 minutes to make his hair, to Snookies "I invented the frikkin poof"--they are a proud bunch.

Needless to say, we are coming out with a whole line of t-shirts about Jersey Shore. Not the show, but the individuals that make up this oasis of true love.

Get ready to fist pump like champs. We're having a blast with this one, go watch the show.

We are going to revisit our favorite shirt of the week, "And then Buffy Staked Edward The End Tee shirt" for a number of reasons.

A)We're so glad that the Buffy Staked Edward T-shirt is rising to the top of people's wish lists for the holiday gift giving season.

B)We're also proud that this t-shirt has risen to the top of Google, so when people search for "Buffy Staked Edward The End" they're going to find the best Buffy shirt out there (ours).

Google has a funny way with its rankings. They have a very complicated algorithm which favors company who manipulate the system--and even pay firms to do it for them--to get their stuff at the top of the page.

Well I'm proposing a new system. Cool stuff should rise to the top, stuff that sucks should drop to the bottom. How do you figure what's cool or not? Websites that have dancing monkeys on their homepage are obviously cool. Websites that lack creativity, obviously suck.

This weeks best selling t-shirt surprises me a bit. We've got some Twilight friendly girls shirts, and we've got one anti-Twilight shirt.

Our "And Then Buffy Staked Edward, The End" T-shirt has been selling like hot cakes, or rather blood at a vampire fair (hey oh!). Looks like "New Moon" has increased the amount of anti-Edward fans out there.

Crooked Monkey Gift Notes
