Crooked Monkey Gift Notes
Its the holiday season, and people like to buy Crooked Monkey shirts for their friends--because they want their friends to love their gifts and not return them. We have a gift option at the checkout, and we have the pleasure of writing whatever note you want us to write. We've written a funny blog post about the notes we've written. But this is a different post. This is about our interns who write those notes and how pretty they make them, because they want the gift to be perfect. Anyways, enjoy this special gift note, and when you buy a shirt from us, take advantage of our interns. Not in the sexual kind of way, but in the "They'll make your gift look even cooler than it already is" way. This creation was done by Jacqui, our intern from Walter Johnson High School. The Maxim HOT 100 party in Los Angeles
I'm back. It was a trip for the ages. A little bit of business a lot of pleasure. First day, I got in and headed straight to a meeting with Jay from Kitson Men's. It's always good to check out that store for new trends and see how our shirts are selling. V necks, V necks and more V Necks. Thats what I saw. We'll be coming out with some of our very own V necks soon. After the meeting I met up with my friend David (he will be featured in this post quite prominently) and we went out to a bonfire on the beach. We raged til midnight which doesn't sound too late, but LA closes real early, and I woke up at 4 AM that day to catch my plane. Second day was full of meetings. Met up with our showroom, our newest designer, our production manager, our LA screen printer, and one of our biggest accounts. All the meetings went better than planned. We got the biggest orders ever from that retail store, and the rest of the meetings were fantastic. At the end of the day, we made some time for the required Baywatch photoshoot in Venice Beach (above). That night was pretty fantastic too. David and I met up with Sasa--the guy who put the Maxim party together. We went to the STK steakhouse 1 year anniversary. For those of you who were following my updates on Twitter, you'd know that I ran into Kim Kardashian (great ass), David Spade (to whom I asked, "Do you know where the weight room is?"), and Courtney Cox (still looks good). Next day I met with the guys over at the Ryan Seacrest Show. We sat down for lunch to plan the User Generated contest we'll be doing with the Ryan Seacrest show. Details to follow. That night the Maxim Hot 100 party went down. Some of the most gorgeous women in the world descended unto the Santa Monica Airport Hanger. And Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven), two cell phones in hand, showed up. Open Bar, Terrell Owens, Popcorn, Heidi Montag, Ferris Wheel, bottles and models. Awesome awesome night. You should've been there. I'm wearing our Coke Healthier than Crack T-shirt. Forget about Sarah Palin, check out Crooked Monkey Hotties
Crooked Monkey's teaming up with thezoi.com, the College Greek telephone directory. I met the founder and his team last year in Los Angeles. It was a good time and we talked about teaming up, because we both have the same audience. After a year of preperation we're going to be doing some cool cross promotions. The first thing we'll be embarking on is advertising on his site. Luckily, we had that hot steamy photoshoot over the summer. Bottles, Models, and wet t-shirts. Here's our first ad for thezoi.com, and it's really our first banner ad ever. I'm quite proud of it. Shout outs to Richard Greenhouse (the photographer), the one and only Laura (our longest standing model), and Kelly (the designer who brought it all together). Crooked Monkey Funny T-shirts, Models and Bottles!!!
As we mentioned before we had a photo shoot yesterday, and it really was gettin' hot out there. Aside from the 90+ degree weather, our models made it hotter. We started out the day modeling our new Crooked Monkey funny t-shirt material for our awesome photographer. You can look forward to seeing some new funny t-shirts, thermals for guys, thermal hoodies and jumpsuits for girls. The models all looked great and the photographer even said that, "This is the first time I have had to worry more about the funny t-shirts than the models." Then we took the shoot to our intern Danielle's house where the models got hot, wet and decided to take their clothes off, after a few rounds of beer pong (or beirut for you Yankees), and poppin' some bottles of the "Goose" and some Belvedere (because that's just how we roll). Our models got loosened up and had no problem taking it off. It wouldn't have have been a Crooked Monkey funny t-shirt photo shoot without some drama and a bit of ego coming from our models, all this and more will be coming in our upcoming video blog. Our interns Cara and Chloe went undercover and all National Geographic for us getting some great footage for our new funny t-shirt video blog. Even after spraying himself with the keg, but still looking good, our Head of Intern Operations Ben got in on some of photo shoot action. Look for him in our new pictures sporting our Butterface shirt. Our good looking models even threw some hotdogs and burgers on the grill and even ate some (yes, we know models eating). And they were surely McLovin'. After a nice break under the umbrellas we all went back to work. Micha oversaw the whole shoot making sure that he liked what he was paying for and, no doubt he did. After some keg stands, chicken fighting, a few more drinks, we ended our day relaxing by the pool. We hope you enjoy the behind the scenes look at our funny t-shirt photo shoot, thanks to Joanna. A special thanks and shout out to all of our models, Laura, Rachel, Amanda, Hillary, Melissa, Andrei and Max. Look forward to seeing some great work from all of them.

Crooked Monkey photoshoot today of Funny T-shirts
Wanted to let you know whats happening here at Crooked Monkey. We just came out with a whole bunch of new funny t-shirts, hoodies, thermal hoodies and pants for the Fall (we'll blog about that later). And what happens when we come out with a whole new season of clothes? We do a photoshoot! And what happens when we get a bunch of gorgeous people in a studio wearing Crooked Monkey funny t-shirts? An orgy, you say? We're not planning on it, but if it happens spontaneously we won't stop anybody. Because as you know wearing Crooked Monkey's Awesome tees tends to cause strong attraction by the opposite sex. Last time we did a photoshoot we produced such awesome pictures as: naked girl behind a hanging t-shirt, which can be found in our Modeling gallery. This shoot will be no different as we'll be coming up with creative ways to exhibit our t-shirts. I don't want to promise anything but we've got trampolines, hot tubs, and convertibles. You do the math. We'll also be producing our first ever Crooked Monkey YouTube production featuring our models. Wow this was a fun blog post. If you've got any ideas for the photoshoot, comment below. Labels: Company Pictures, models, Photo shoot
Crooked Monkey office photos!
The funniest t-shirt company on the planet also likes to have fun. Fancy that. For an upcoming article in a newspaper, the photographer asked us to strike a pose and get famous. We'll post the article as soon as it gets published. What what. Also, let us know who looks best: From Left: Cara, Joanna, Micha, Chloe, Emily. Labels: Company Pictures, Interns
