This is the second in our full line of Guido T-shirts. The Jersey Shore is full of guys and gals rocking those oversized shades, because when you're cool the sun is always shining.

When we're coming up with funny t-shirts, sometimes we think of a graphic and need the right text to accompany it, or sometimes we produce the text, but need to figure out the appropriate graphic. And sometimes, we get touched by the hand of god and produce both simultaneously.
Here a t-shirt slogan we've just revisited that we've been wanting to do for a while: "Silent but deadly." We could go with the tried and true graphic of a kung fu master. After all, if Beverly Hills Ninja taught us anything, its that ninja's are silent but deadly.
But we came to thinking. What else is Silent yet deadly? Oh I know. Swine Flu.
And what epidemic is lacking in funny t-shirts? You guessed it. Swine Flu.

Our British Flag Shirt Featured in Seventeen Magazine
Our good friends over at Seventeen Magazine featured our Girls British Flag T-shirt in their September issue. On page 66 and again on Page 70 they have a rocker chick, decked out in a plaid jacket and shoes, modeling our British Flag Girls t-shirt.

The other day we wrote about the process of producing Michael Jackson tees. Since we loved him so much, we wanted to make sure that we were making the best MJ shirts out there--the ones that would honor Michael the most.

They are all printed on Unisex American Apparel Deep V neck t-shirts. For guys, you should order the size you normally order. But for girls, you should order one size lower--if you usually order a Small, then get an XS (b/c they're unisex). If you usually order a medium shirt, then order a Small Unisex v neck. Hope that makes sense!
Maybe this recession isn't so bad after all. We've got more time with our families, more time to pursue our hobbies and passions, and more time to give back to our communities. Sure, our bank accounts are smaller and we're about to lose our jobs--but that's all immaterial.

Ok we get it. We're supposed to save money now. Our national savings rate, before this recession, was a negative number--meaning that we spent more than we earned. Our consumerist society finally caught up to us and we are paying for it now.
But that doesn't mean we have to start living like the Amish. We can still pamper ourselves a little. And if shopping is your vice, then so be it. Some people spend their money on cars, others on mistresses. If you want to spend it on a nice bag or a cool t-shirt, don't feel ashamed. Buy it, and let everyone know that you're not afraid to spend a little money on yourself.
Our I love to shop t-shirt kills many birds with one stone--it's cheap (only 19.99, and I'm sure you can find some sort of discount code on the internet to make it even cheaper), it's funny, and it's true.
We like to group shirts in fours--mostly because our product page has four columns in each row--but also because four is a mystical number. Two plus Two is Four. Two times Two is Four. Its a very square and agreeable number. We made four girls recession t-shirts this time around.

Time to start making fun of that lame ass recession. We came out with four recession t-shirts. This shirt, Broke is the new Black is one of my favorites. Playing on the "(Insert word here) is the New Black" phenomenon this shirt lets people know that it's hip to be broke. Long gone are the days of flaunting your money and proclaiming that you're frivolously spending cash.
Crooked Monkey doesn't have any YouTube videos, we've kind of skipped out on that Medium. We made a pretty sweet video about our photoshoot, but we never took the raw footage to the editing room. Hopefully this summer we'll release the blockbuster.
So here's our tribute to all those unpaid Youtube Celebrities. South Park does a real funny episode on all the famous YouTube Celebrities trying to claim their "cash."
I guess if you asked us to describe the good life this would be it--Cocktails, palm trees, sunset, beach chairs and a Crooked Monkey soaking it all in.

Here's a shirt that we've had for a while, but for some reason never made it to our online site. In 'n out of rehab like its my job. Its like a revolving door--go in one minute, out the next, and back again next week.
As we commented on the product page, Rehab is the best place to meet celebrities--its like a second home for them. I'd go to the ones in LA or Nevada--those are probably the most frequented.

We've had the I recycle boys shirt for girls for so long, that we decided to add a guys version as well. This shirt is geared primarily to gay guys who like to advertise their sexual orientation. I think it's a pretty funny shirt and with a shirt that reads "I recycle boys" your sending a clear message. This shirt goes well with the My Roommate is gay t-shirt
For those of you that are new to our site, we've started making non-funny graphic t-shirts. There are no jokes, just deep meanings and layers of analysis. We decided that college kids love funny t-shirts and they also love cool graphic t-shirts--so we're providing both.

The After party is the most important part of the night. Pull whatever or whoever you can from the bars and take them to the after party, because thats where the magic happens. Rock out with your Cock Out. Everyone says it; every t-shirt company has its own rendition. Ours is the only one that's truly unique.
It's taken us so long to produce this graphic, because we like to seperate ourselves from the "competition." We could've done a simple text based graphic, but we chose not to go down that road of unoriginality. That's a slippery slope and who knows what would've come next. Perhaps one of those super cool looking, super original Cowbell or Speaker City shirts. No No No. Never.
So when we finally came up with the concept of a Rooster rocking out to guitar hero, we knew we had a winner--and a winner that you could all be proud of. So go ahead, Rock out with your Cock out and stay Fresh.
She Kissed a girl and I liked it NEW Funny T-shirt
Here's the second of our new funny t-shirts for the holiday gift buying season. I think our description on the site really explains our reasoning best: 'Because it wouldn't be funny or ironic if we made a shirt that read 'I kissed a girl and I liked it.'"
Our intern Chloe came up with this shirt over the summer before she returned to Syracuse for the Fall semester. Too bad we didn't make this one in girls sizes...
We just came out with a slew of new t-shirts for the holiday gift-buying season. The first one is the Guys No Sleep til Brooklyn t-shirt, which is a tribute to one of my favorite bands growing up. The Beastie Boys also composed Crooked Monkey's theme song, "Brass Monkey."
Jen F. from Schenectady, New York, chimed in with a great concept but we need help with the words.
Originally she wanted it to say: "Global warming is just God hugging the Earth Closer" with the attached picture.
But we're looking to tweak it a bit. Perhaps, "At least the sun loves us." Or something about the sun trying to reach out and rebuild our relationship.

Here me now. Hear me now. We've been producing this shirt for a while, but only now feel that the online world is ready for this shirt. What with the stock market crashing and all, what better way to say "bring back the good old days," than this t-shirt.
So I'll explain the shirt a bit, because the deeper meanings are sometimes lost on us. The first explanation for this shirt, is that we all love those original Apple IIe computers. The original Macs were the best. The world was a little simpler back then--black and white screen, floppy disks, and Oregon trail.
So i've gone through the trouble of finding the best Jerome clip around. Watch it twice because there are subtleties that need to be recognized. He starts off the clip with his patented "jerome in da house" and then moves on to some other priceless lines.
Today is a day for posting new funny t-shirts from Crooked monkey. We posted our University of Maryland college licensed t-shirts earlier today. That was a huge post for all Terp fans, and for anybody who Fears the Turtle.
So here's our Facebook Stalker shirt. It goes well with our Tag this t-shirt and our Facebook it's my day job t-shirt. It's actually my favorite of all three, although all three are pretty awesome. This completes our trio of facebook shirts. Look out for our poking t-shirt, coming out soon.
