Where are you located?

Denver, Las Vegas, Louisville, Nashville, Philadelphia and Washington DC. But we ship and print all across the country. Our facilities are spaced throughout the country to ensure that our turn around times are short for everyone.

How long has Crooked Monkey been making shirts?

Since 2005. We started with our own brand of graphic designed shirts that were carried in apparel stores throughout the country - Urban Outfitters, Bloomingdales, Saks and others. In 2014 we opened up our custom merchandise division where we bring that retail experience to your brand.

What type of items do you produce?

We can help with most branded items - all apparel and hats, backpacks, water bottles, lanyards, tumblers, enamel pins...

We love to create "retail-inspired" items to help elevate your brand. What does that mean? Reach out and we can brainstorm.

What is your minimum?

Embroidered items have a minimum of 24.

Screen printed apparel items typically have a minimum of 35.

Promo items have a varying minimum based on the product.

What is turn around time for apparel items?

Our sandard apparel turnaorund is 10 days, but rush orders are always welcome. Though we prefer 48 hours notice, we have even produced items within 24 hours!

What is turn around time for promo items?

This varies on the type of items. Generally, promo items take 1-3 weeks, but a large amount of water bottles and other items can be done within a week.

Just let us know if you need promo items ASAP and we will let you know the items we can produce in that time.

Can you produce promo items rush?

Yes, we can do a large number of rush promo items. Some take as few as 3 days, but the majority take at least a week.

Are you able to help me with design?

Absolutely, design is how we differentiate ourselves! We charge $65 an hour for in-depth design work (think creating a completely new logo or graphic). If you need something to be resized or the colors to be changed, we don't charge.

What are your rush charges (if any)?

It depends on the type of print and garment. There is almost always a charge for promo items. Some apparel items we can waive the rush fee. If you need them produced within 3 days, there is a 35% rush fee.

Can you print only 1 shirt?

No, our minimum is 35.

What type of file do you need for my order?

Please send us Adobe Illustrator, EPS or Adobe PDF.

Are you able to do Net 30 for businesses?

For first time customers, we request you pay in full. But after the first order, we are happy to discuss terms.

What is your return policy?

We ask that all customers approve orders before they are produced. This means that customers will approve their print colors, graphic sizing, shirt sizes, and shirt styles. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure these aspects are correct. If the order is delivered and meets the final approved order, there will be no refund.

If the order is delivered with discrepancies from the final approved order, we do offer refunds (because it wasn’t what you ordered!) Of course we will make it right!

How is my price determined?

Price is based on the type of garment, quality of that garment, # of colors we're printing, # of shirts we're pritning and sides we're printing on. We try to wrap all these costs in the final “cost per shirt”. So you don’t have to worry about any extra fees.

Who can help me with my design?

We'll assign a sales rep to you so you can have help with your design from the very start!

What forms of payment does Crooked Monkey accept? (Check or Purchase Order).

We accept all major Credit Cards, ACH transfer and Checks. We typically do not accept Cash.

What happens if I am not happy with my order?

Please let us know what happened and we'll work with you to make it right. We're proud that over 90% of our customers return, so we try hard to get it right the first time.

Can I mix products with the same custom design?

Absolutely, pricing is based on how many times a graphic is printed. If you order 36 hoodies and 36 shirts with the same graphic, we will bump you to the 72 bulk price break.

Can you see samples of designs before purchasing in bulk?

We create digital mock-ups for all orders for you to approve. We typically do not produce pre-production samples for customers to see. Printing 1 shirt requires a different process and would not reflect the final order. If it is a large enough order we are happy to accomodate.

How do I know my shirt size?

If needed, we can send a measurement chart for almost all of our apparel items. We also have the expertise to tell you if something runs small, large or true to size.

How much extra is shipping?

All orders of 50 units or more receive free shipping.

Do you ship outside of the US?

Yes, we can but it is not considered free and there is an extra fee.

Will I receive an order confirmation upon placing my order?

Yes, and before we go to print we check the artwork and make sure everything looks good. If anything looks off or if we have questions we reach out immediately.

We do not print without letting you know the order has been received and everything looks good!

Where are your products made?

We offer products made everywhere on Earth. If you need US-made items, fret not, we offer 1000’s. If you need union-made also don’t worry, we’re union.

How do I know what customization method to choose?

We are experts with over 14 years of experience. We know what fabrics produce the best looks and what garments handle each process best.

Can you print photos on shirts?

We typically do not print photos on shirts. The maximum number of colors for screen printed items is typically 6 (sometimes 7 or 8 depending on the quantity and graphic).

What is your best selling t-shirt?

The Bella 3001 or Bella 3001 CVC are our best selling shirts - it is an extremely soft shirt and the value is great.

Who should I contact for help with placing an order?

You can use a variety of methods to contact our team for help... (call, email, handwritten note if you really want). But a great place to start is with our request a quote form listed in the menu!

What premium brands do you offer?

We offer all of the best premium brands, they will be sure to take your brand to the next level:

Patagonia, Herschel Supply Co, Under Armour, Southern Tide, Puma, Vineyard Vines, The North Face, Marmot, Columbia, Nike, Eddie Bauer, MiiR and Spyder.

What if I place an order but need to cancel?

Reach out to us ASAP. There will probably be a restocking fee that you will have to pay but if we haven’t printed them, we can probably get them canceled so you don’t have to pay the full amount.

What are your hours of operation?

9-7 EST Monday through Friday.

Can I order blank samples?

Yup, we try to cover the cost of samples but we do charge shipping (because the wholesaler charges us shipping).
